WHAT IS TRUE WORD MINISTRIES?
True Word Ministries is a Uganda ministry involved in various programs and projects such as- Church Planting , Leadership training, Believers Conferences, Youth Ministry, Children Projects, Community Health Care Services, Prison Ministry, Christian Schools Establishments, Orphan assistance, and Skills Development. The ministry was started in 1996 with the purpose of attaining the above mentioned goals. With the aim to serve the rural and urban communities indiscriminately.
Church Planting
True Word Ministries plants churches mostly in country areas where there is no church and we place a care pastor in each church planted . Prayer Focus:- Please pray that God would lead families and churches to partner with the True Word Ministries through prayer and monthly financial giving.
Uganda has over 28 million people of which 93% live in villages and most church planters concentrate in the urban because life is better than living in the village, in a village church a pastor has nothing to expect in terms of support for his needs as the church member are very poor but full of love for God so serving God here is a call but not a job.
Overnight Prayer
Since May 2010 we started to conduct night prayers in the villages, the vision is to take to each Sub-county on overnight prayer meeting throughout all the sub-counties in Busoga region. The purpose is wage war against demonic powers that control each area. We also aim at encouraging the people to be prayerful since the time is short. We have so been to 2 places and the attendance is overwhelming with over 700 people. Please pray for this new move.
PASTOR SPONSORSHIP
True Word Ministries links a pastor in need to a church/ a family in developed countries for the purpose of providing a means of a church or a family to partner with the local church by supporting the pastor with $40 per month. Over 13 pastors have been connected to sponsors since 2004, we see joy and commitment in the lives of these pastors as they can now take care of their families because our partner families that have been faithful in supporting them.
SELF SUSTENANCE
The goal for the ministry is to see each pastor become self supporting by providing them each a $500 start up for a small income generating project such as piggery, cow, Selling food, or cloth making and selling cloth or goods .

A scooter costs $1500 and it is very good way making money as it used as a Taxi and below is a story of a pastor that has been very successful with a scooter that was give to him four years ago.
Pastor kadaya, is one of the active pastors you can trust with your kind support. He had ministered for years trusting God and seeking his presence and provision for him self and church. God blessed him with a cow from his Sponsor from Arkansas, USA.
He is now very excited and happy for the gift of a cow that he received, he is taking good care of it and his family. There many more pastors in our village churches that are also bending on their knees for God’s presence and provision.
