Meet Fred Tumwebaze
Pastor Fred Tumwebaze as a Founder of True Word Ministries, he has witnessed a transformation of his native country, Uganda through a creation of Gods Ministries.
He has much more work started but not yet fully finished, still much more is needed to minister effectively in village churches, Orphans and vulnerable children and many other ministries that you can bear witness by coming to Uganda or rather by contacting him personally.
Pastor Fred and Joan
Pastor Fred is married to Joan, with one child called Jeremiah who is the first born, now expecting their second born early July, 2010. His ministry started as far back as in 1995, when he was first ordained as a pastor of Buikwe Christian Faith Centre.
In 1998, he was led to plant a church in his own town called Buwenge, Jinja district, Uganda, the church is called Omega Christian Prayer Centre, which he is pastoring to date.
He has witnessed the birth of many other sister Churches and nurtured pastors in his own church. True Word Ministries are growing both spiritually and physically.
Fred, is the man you may not wish to miss if God blesses you to come to Uganda.
In 2002, he founded Omega Modern Primary School together with Rescue African Children (REACH). The school started with 54 students under a mango tree, now with 500 students.

The vision of Omega Modern Primary School is to enable Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) get access to education and where possible to link these children with the sponsor family in developed countries.
